Q. What forms of payment does Living It Up accept?
A. Living It Up accepts visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro as well as payment by cheque or bank transfer.
Q. Will my credit card details be safe with Living It Up?
A. Any information you provide to Living It Up, including credit card information, is encrypted on our secure server (or that of our payment handler SagePay) using SSL. The encryption process converts the information you enter into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet. Therefore, you can be assured that shopping online with Living It Up is a hassle-free experience and one that is completely secure and protected against fraud or similar concerns.
Q. How do I know that my order has been received?
A. Once your order is submitted our website will display a confirmation message to acknowlegde your order. You should also receive an automated email confirmation which includes details of all the items you have ordered.
Q. How do I know if items are in-stock?
A. We endeavour to give up-to-date stock availability information on the product specific pages of our website. An indication should be given as to the anticipated delivery time of new stock if items aren't currently available. Please Contact Us if you have any difficulty finding the stock information you require.
Q. How much will delivery cost?
A. Our standard delivery charges to UK mainland addresses is shown on each product page. Delivery to all the postcodes covering Scotland, Wales and South West may incur a surcharge (and therefore do not qualify for free delivery offers). For such orders it is best to obtain a delivery quotation prior to placing your order so that we can provide an accurate price for your delivery. If you place your order without a quotation then we will contact you to confirm the surcharge before processing your order. We do not currently deliver outside of the UK Mainland.
Q. How long will delivery take?
A. We endeavour to deliver in-stock items within 7 working days and this is possible for the vast majority of orders. We will always contact you to arrange a convenient day for delivery. Where delivery is not possible within 7 working days we will advise you as soon as possible to let you know.Exceptions to this are
Scotland: Usually 7-21 working days
Wales: Usually 7 -14 working days
EX,TA,TQ,PL,TR: Usually 7-14 working days
If you have specific delivery requirements please contact our office to discuss before you place your order. Delivery will usually take place on a weekday, and whilst we do our best to accommodate specific delivery requests, we cannot guarantee delivery will reach you on a requested date.
Q. Do you charge VAT?
A. All prices shown on our website include VAT at the prevailing rate.
Q. Can I arrange for my order to be delivered to an address other than my own?
A. It is usually possible to deliver to an alternative delivery address as long as our security checks are successful. Our security checks can take up to 3 working days to complete. In some instances, as part of our measures to prevent fraudulent orders, we may be obliged to deliver only to the registered card address. Orders paid for by cheque or bank transfer can always be delivered to an address of your choosing.
Q. Will my furniture need assembly?
A. We are pleased to be able to offer a complimentary fitting service for most of our upholstered beds and sofas. If an item requires self-assembly it will be stated under the ‘dimensions tab’. Complimentary fitting is dependent upon the delivery team having adequate access to room of choice on the day of delivery. Should you require any replacement parts under your guarantee we are unable to send a team out to replace these for you.
Q. Can I pay for my order when I receive it?
A. No, all products must be paid for prior to despatch.
